you can read this
https://goldback.com/exchange
factoring manufacturing costs are fine

my pasta from a previous thread on goldbacks:
>Do you stack for their melt value or for how much food you can buy with them? The only people interested in melting down large amounts of pure silver/gold are industrial buyers and banks.
>the point of silver and gold isn't to minmax the profit you can make buying and selling; it's not an investment, it's a store of wealth.
>gold-backed money isn't used so you can trade for an imaginary spot value (the publicized, agreed-upon barder rate from gold to fiat)
>it's used so inflation isn't a thing; it's worth using because it is valuable; because it can't just be printed. it has to be mined and processed and is worth enslaving races over

main reason I bought those for those price is coolness + numismatic yes, but goldbacks themselves will be very successful

oh you thinking full on wilderness?
montana is spacious enough you can be in the woods where people will leave you alone but you still drive to a town
from my research, red region is most based, especially if farming
maybe look into troy or yaak for low-population townships

you can always set up an antenna yourself
for watersource just install a well, and have the hand-pump kind
