I've got about 800g cash and equities, just watching prices come down.

There's a real romantic part of me that wants to divide it between a comfy rurual property and a passive income stream through dividends or property rental income, but I'd basically be limited to that income which would be very little.

Probably gonna buy a normie house and work in the city and get cashed up, decide later if I want to cash out or remain.

But still, kudos for the astute behaviour. Even more kudos for pulling it off back then when informatio wasn't so freely availalbe. Right now I can google all the information I need to ensure I make the most informed and best decision possible, it'd have been a different story in 2008 or there abouts I think.

Ironically I got really into finance because of the GFC and me having no idea what was causing it, what it meant for me and others. I just didn't want to get blindsided by economic factors ever again. By doing so I've enriched my family and myself by telling following what's happening and determining what it'll lead towards.
