Market watch posted an interesting article today about the level of weakest link companies on the S&P. A weakest link company is any company with a credit rating, as determined by the S&P Global Ratings, of B- or worse. This number is now the highest it has been since 2009. Now, this isn't IMMEDIATE DOOMSDAY situation but, like the yield inversion earlier this year, it ain't exactly peachy.
