The word "scam" implies maliciousness behind the act. Have you seen the videos of the people who promoted it? As a white male I believe it is our duty to help newcomers to this country get up to speed and part of that means being understanding and lenient. I'm asking you to our yourself in the shoes of the people running Bitconnect. You are a poor immigrant in what you have been told is the land of opportunity. Do think a single one of these immigrants seen on stage didn't genuinely believe that theirs was a legitimate model for success? Look at them all beaming. You can't fake it. I know an eight year old child who came up with the same scheme and I had to explain why it doesn't work. So too are the Bitconnect people innocent children who were not fortunate to have someone sit down, without attacking them, for a heart to heart and explain why pyramid schemes don't actually work. I'm open to your input. All I ask os that you have an open mind before judging these poor dreamers for hoping and daring to dream the American dream.

Did a single white person buy into this? I noticed there were no white people on this stage. I also noticed that it resembles a multi-level marketing seminar which is usually filled with blacks and Latinos. Be honest. If you are white and bought into this, do you believe there's no such thing as race? I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just curious.
