As an average height American, I have never felt taller than when I visited Italy. Also, consider not giving a fuck about their opinions, you are fighting ghosts. These guys and rich guys have an alternate route to that mindset, but there's nothing stopping you from adopting it. Love yourself; change yourself if you need to in order to do that. Then dont hide from anyone or lie, face the world as you are and it will either reward or destroy you for it. There's no reason to despair, you are your warden staring at a dark corner while the light shines through the open window. Just look. The men who actually do this are far more rare and valuable than a pretty face or an extra comma or two.
