I have 500 shares I'm long on. I would like to sell covered calls in the meantime. What would you suggest for a time and strike price while the shar price is in the 4-5 range. I would like to jew up premium money and jew on to the stock, of course.

Limit orders, not market orders.
Budget an amount for each position. If I want $1000 of PLUG that's all I will spend. I will buy maybe $700-$800 at different prices as I build my position, then I will save what's left to average down if I need to. But sometimes it's better to just take the loss and move on. It depends on what you're doing with a given stock. Know ahead of time: am I long on this stock, is this a day trade, or a swing.
If the price is too high then don't buy it; if it opens at $23.77 try to get it cheaper. Maybe it will go down to $23.15, or $22.98. The changes adds up quickly.
Do not FOMO. There will be other opportunities.
Buy RED, sell GREEN.
If you hear/see something shilled relentlessly here, or on another site, on television... It's probably too late. Don't worry about it. There will be other opportunities.
Have an exit strategy. What is your target price? What is the most you are willing to lose? (Note that poor fags are allowed three day trades per five day period. Look up the Pattern Day Trade rule.) I always know when I'm exiting.
Take your gains when you can. The tax is higher for short-term capital gains, but unless it's one of my longs like GEO or IRM or KO I'm taking my gains.
I set aside 25% of gains for capital gains tax and I don't use that for trading.
I very rarely use my gains for trading. My gains go to my mutual fund/Roth/other.
Research before you buy. Know what a company does and if they are good at it. Look at volume. There are a million other things, too. Some I pay attention to, other I don't. Very rarely does the market make sense. I like to focus on a few companies at a time and I try to make money of them.
Life is short. Eat well, exercise, read, and surround yourself with people you care about. Try to better yourself every day.
Hope you liked my blog. Good luck.

It's strange. I cheated death three times (ruptured appendix, drowning, traffic accident), and that's not including years of drinking and drugs that aren't heroin and meth. No matter who you are some people die along the way, but when it's an old bro or a lover it's very disturbing.
Being 40, mostly it's very isolating. My kids are ten and twelve, so I pretty much cut off all social contact about thirteen years ago, partly because everyone went hard Lefty and I stayed the same (kinda lolbertarian I guess). I really didn't start getting serious about personal finance until five years ago; before that it was just trying to keep the lights on and bread on the table without help from the gubmint. I regret all the money I pissed away at the bar, but I live very modestly so my kids can still do/have shit and I can put money aside. I have a great job now, too, and I'm debt-free.
To conclude my blogpost, I'd say I'm very fortunate in a lot of ways. I had way too much fun but I survived. Now I have books and a piano and a couple of guns. The kids are well. I probably won't quite make it but my kids probably will.

Happy for the draftKangz out there. I couldn't pull the trigger but I'm glad you did.
Also: Fuck Bobo. The average bear is an anti-American faggot, a lispy cocksucker that bets against the United States and loses time after time. I smack the shit out of you faggots when I see you at the bar IRL. Those Obama and Bernie tats you bitches have on your ankles make it easy to see who I'm going to follow out to the parking lot. Sometimes your women leave with me when you run inside to cry to the barmaid and get napkins for your bloody noses. Eat shit.

I got my DHT divvy overnight. It was like getting a blow job from an ex. Fuck this nigger talking about tankers mooning. I still believe tankers will jump later on in June because I believe storage is still a problem and the tankers have been printing money for themselves, but it's a strange sector and I doubt I'll fuck with it again. I bought some DFEN and more IRM. In the market for food company cheapies but I'm content to sit and watch today.
Good luck, fren.
