Hey. For someone who has any insight on structured settlements or experience. One was set up for me so that for 30 years i receive 2500 a month starting in a few years. Now obviously, that is not ideal seeing as there's no adjustments for inflation and it would pay off to get everything up front.

Is there a general consensus that selling the settlement for a (hopefully not) substantial fee? I'm having trouble trying to figure out the calculations on potential growth made from taking the lump sum compared to losses on inflation.

Any advise or appropriate literature would be really appreciated
