Germany has Gold and Silver Bullion too, it called the Goldeuro and gets released in different weight classes, the most sold is the 100€ 1/2 oz coin.
They are sold near spot by the Bundesministerium für Finanzen. The motives change every year. We had a series Deutsche Städte (German cities, with Goslar, Kassel and so on) and Deutscher Wald with local fauna.
We also had a cool Grundgesetz (constitution) series, Einigkeit, Recht und Freiheit, 2019, 2020, 2021.
Every coin gets minted in all 5 official German mints in Berlin, München, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Hamburg in equal parts. So if you buy a 2020 Einigkeit coin, you get it with 5 mint signs. Collectors love that shit, now they can buy 5 of the same :-)
But the Austrian Philharmoniker is far more popular, even in Germany. I don't know why. I for one just buy the cheapest internationally recognized coins, Brits, Leafs, Nuggets, Phils, Kruger.

I got my first 1oz Philharmoniker today, what a sweet coin. I like that it's larger than usual.
It is in my list of cool gold coins now, Brits, Leafs and Phils, in that order.

Extremely cool, we will enjoy it's pics. A good treasure chest is important. I bought these two, top was 25€, bottom 85€. I hope to get another one in between in terms of size for silver, then the golden one for gold, both go then into the large one and that then goes into a hidden small corner of the basement.
