Up until covid, I was still buying some obscure doujin CDs from comiket and other various festivals. Most of that music would never become available online unless me or some other English speaking fan happened to share it.
Then they cancelled events for 2 years straight and most of the artists I followed either got real jobs or quit the industry for good.
