Interesting note about Gibraltar.

>Also didn't England just release guidelines for digital assets like yesterday? Can't find anything online about it but I could swear I saw it.

UK requested a consultation for how to regulate stablecoins: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/uk-regulatory-approach-to-cryptoassets-and-stablecoins-consultation-and-call-for-evidence

the XRPL issues synthetic stablecoins, and could help the UK deal with the financial barriers that Brexit will cause. E.g. UK banks or companies can issue on the XRPL EU currencies. XRP itself is just the trustless way to settle for whatever is issued. Regardless, something like this would give XRPL the stamp of legitimacy and utility.
