You are right, a civil war in America would lead to less government and general chaos where at least some people would be free.

You are thinking of a world where America is kept united and completely under control by jewish cultural marxists. Doug Casey supposes that in order to keep america united and the growing populist movement under control a hot war with the Chinese needs to occur in order to take away what limited freedoms the Americans have left.

For example perhaps it would be possible to disarm the American people if they believed that it was their patriotic duty in order to help against the war against china.

The story is the same with silver, it's the same suppression and price controls. It's a good thing for us speculators know that eventually the price suppression has to end, all it takes is a small rush by the general population into physical metal. For the past 12 years we have had bearable consumer price inflation.
When food prices double in less then a year and bitcoin is skyrocketing and people are looking for inflation hedges I find it hard to imagine that monetary demand for silver wouldn't explode.

I have a small lawn mowing business and I am studying economics (yes I know Keynesian stuff is rubbish) at university.

I kind of want to be like Thomas Kaplan even though he is a Jew and it is hard for a lower class gentile to achieve the feats of a upper class Jew. But at the same time I really like lawn mowing because you can see the difference you are making in the world to real people in real time.

Not only that it is extremely undervalued. In a world where gold is $10000 USD I can see silver at $1000 USD and that is at current USD buying power.
