>I wonder how many people are going to rope themselves in the future because they traded xmr based on short term valuation Instead of seeing it as a buy-in signal.

Its why they say "Patience is a virtue." If you're incapable of delayed gratification you're statistically going to do worse in life.

Me too, and it's very recent as it goes through the pandemic etc. Probably the best video to show beginners if they want to research in depth

>a couple of years is actually a viable horizon in my view. XMR is like BTC 2014/2015. Missed that one? Well, here is your change

Its certainly not impossible given how irrational the current crypto market is but I prefer to temper my expectations and abide by more conservative projections.

>Price prediction for 4thQ?

$500-ish. Q4 is when atomic swaps drop, so it'll certainly be very interesting.

>amount?

Depends on how long you're willing to sit still and wait. Monero is projected to eventually hit 5 figures so 50 -100 XMR should eventually put you in (multi)millionaire territory. The longer you wait to cash out, the higher the yield.

>when all the shitcoins go ballistic xmr is just sitting around doing nothing.

Exactly, XMR isn't a hype-fueled shitcoin.

>The market has decided Monero is a shit coin ?

The market is highly irrational at the moment and hopped up on speculative hype.

>Not at all. It WAS comfy when it was like a very slightly better performing private bitcoin. Now it’s broken below .006 it is decidedly not comfy.

The current whims of an irrational and exuberant market have no bearing on the core fundamentals of Monero. XMR is a long-term hold with excellent prospects, thats why we're comfy.
