Can someone explain to me in a non technical way why bitcoin isn't used for icos? From what I understand it's possible but harder for some reason?

>ran a couple bots on RS which is basically the equivalent of crypto mining of today
>joined a merchant clan and pumped and dumped on the grand exchange
>realized i didn't have to wage slave (grind skills) for money and i could just stake it in the duel arena, develop a gambling addiction
>learned about all the fucking scams people try to pull online, good thing it was for gp and not real money
