Brave.com

You earn cryptocurrency (BAT) by having advertisements toggled on. Simple and easy.

>>19606451
You actually don't need to click on the ads at all. Brave only wants you clicking on ads that interest you, anyways.

>theres extreme BAT hate for no reason other than Brave and BAT becoming extremely successful and playing by the rules.

agreed. The hate from bitcoin maximalists on twitter is the most cringeworthy. It's literally just the "Wow Brave is a great idea, but you should have used [insert cryptocurrency] because I am invested in it" dumbass remark over and over again

they whine and complain, then throw easily refutable critiques at BAT every few weeks in replies to Brendan Eich tweets. It will probably happen more and more as Brave/BAT grow in numbers and utility. BAT still has a long ways to go, I guess the haters will only make it stronger

Yeah, thought it was cool to see Kyle Samani praising Brave/BAT. I don't know. I think people will be shit talking Brave for the next 5 years. I think it's important to realize that's just part of the game. No cryptocurrency has been shit-talked more than Bitcoin.

Although late-adopter bitcoin maximalists tend to talk more shit than everyone else now, Bitcoin was shitted on and unanimously made fun of all over the internet for more than half a decade. Doesn't change shit as long as Brave/BAT chug along and progress.

Once this little guy releases BAT Ads and starts marketing, it's going to be the David to Google's Goliath.

It'll be one of the heavy hitters in 2019 and beyond.

of course not. If you have multiple coinbase accounts you could theoretically do the Earn program multiple times, but you'd more than likely be committing fraud if you had multiple coinbase accounts, so good luck with that.

If Brave is successful and begins to disrupt Google Chrome's monopoly in the Browser world, won't BAT have a leg-up in being "the Internet's native currency"? I just watched the Joe Rogan interview with Jack Dorsey, and he mentions how he believes the internet will eventually have a "native currency," which makes total sense. FIAT is way too clunky or slow on the internet at the moment and it has too many hurdles involved before you can spend it or acquire it.

BAT isn't decentralized by any means, but I'm failing to see how Bitcoin, BCash or Ethereum are being consciously implemented to be used as a native internet currency. BAT will be automatically infused with a web browser, making infrastructure to acquire/use/spend BAT so seamless that even brainlet normies will be able to use it. Imagine how many people can be exposed to the currency simply by using Brave? The possibilities are endless.

Hmm. I think you shouldn't waste your time doing that, unless you own that wikia domain.

What you should do is start your own website, and place the data you've compiled on that site except with more accessible/convenient/interesting ways to access the information.

Then you should go get Brave verified and shill your site all over the web, and if you get lots of donations you'll be rich. Anyways, don't waste the fruit of your labor on somebody else's website. You deserve to profit from your own work.

People are upset but Brave and BAT are further along than they've ever been and the team is still making progress on the browser/BAT ads/etc.

I think we're hitting a low point here but big things are in store this year for Brave no matter what, even if shit comes late. It was always a long term hold, lots of ADD kiddies that bought with their college loans looking to 10x in a few months. Brave/BAT was never going to be like that. It's only at 5.5 million monthly active users and doesn't even have a 1.0 browser out yet.

lol that's where I actually saw it first too. Honestly didn't even know what Cheddar was, but I went to the website and poked around and tipped them like 5 or 10 BAT

sidenote: I love Batgrowth.com, but I wish I could expand the "newest website publishers" list and also have a search option for publishers or something like that.

Yeah. We decentralize FB and Google's advertising monopoly by blocking all ads. Use BAT and other cryptocurrencies to fund content you care about.

If Buzzfeed and their ilk can't adopt to modern online business strategies, then that's bad business, not necessarily anyone else's fault. Yes, the online publication-advertising model is ridiculously unfair and retarded. But there are new ways to overcome that, and these companies are fucking stuck in the past.
