Greetings /biz/. I'm an ambitious young man looking for a sense of direction. Not sure how common threads like this are, but just hear me out.

I've been slugging my way through life being a wageslave for Warren Buffett, making just enough to keep afloat in my shitty apartment while taking classes on the side in hopes that one day a BA will help me in some way. I know the USA is full to the brim with overworked millenials with a degree, but it's better than being a millenial with no degree (I think).

My job pays little and physically exhausts me every day. I work a warehouse job and mostly deal with heavy lifting. There are no real local alternatives, so I'm at the mercy of the localized wages.

I'm smart, patient, and ambitious. My potential is wasted. I have no dreams of being a financial king. I just want to make enough to support a family and give them a promising road. Currently that seems like a pipedream.

I need a sense of direction. I have never invested in stocks. I know very little in the way of making money outside of physical labor. I just need some solid advice, or a finger pointing me down a good path. I have money I've saved up over the years but it isn't much (couple thousand) that I could use toward some kind of venture.

Anyone care to give a lowly wagecuck some wisdom?
