This is really bad for me. Really bad. You couldn't make up how bad this is for me and my family.
My mother and I have a shared Etsy business. I won't say the name but we essentially sell older womens clothes and bras that my mother hand makes. They make huge money. We get orders from all around the world but I had to block orders from india because of refund scams which cost us money. I handle the marketing and business side because she doesn't understand computers. We do really well... or at least we were. I use all sorts of tricks to advertise such as writing fake reviews where I pretend I'm an old woman and the clothes made a young man take interest in me, including photoshopping pictures of myself/mother on a date holding hands kissing etc to make it seem real.
We can't get our money now. we barely make enough to survive with this and my mother working 2 jobs (my full time is this).
The worst thing is she doesn't understand how banks work either, so I tell her we get the money delivered every month by a delivery man (I open the door and have a conversation with myself loud enough for her to hear). She won't understand what has happened. I might have to tell her the delivery man died. she really likes him because he reminds her of me.
