There's more silver than gold in the Earth's crust, and you're forgetting that gold has a huge industrial use as well and not just jewellery and coins/ingots
If you're expecting silver to somehow hit the moon then you're an idiot. There is no scenario where silver jumps in prices but gold doesn't. Silver is merely a poor man's stack. And I say that as someone with 200+ oz of silver and only about 5oz in gold.
