I don't really "get" the "practice socializing" thing, like it's a muscle that can be trained?
I tend to push people away because I'm really not a good person so I try to say as little as possible around people I don't know because anything I say without thinking will not be a good thing to say. I don't like having to self censor all the time so talking in public is just not a fun time for me.

Basically I would net 60k less each year in equity if I wanted to live alone (due to rent + reinvesting in metropolitan area). I don't think paying 60k a year is worth a gf, let alone the mere CHANCE to even match with one on a dating app. I wish housing wasn't so expensive...
