Slow news day- no real developments other than Schwartz's stablecoin article (maybe he really does dislike Jed if he's coming after Stellar's market like that) and the XRP/crude oil etc trading pairs getting listed

Garlinghouse did a 10-tweet thread about the lawsuit but nothing new really. seems like all eyes are on the Trump fiasco. Waiting to see if Q is real basically. its very interesting to observe the fabric of American government disintegrating. The most powerful man in the world was deplatformed yesterday- in some ways, it seemed to me like a declaration of war, especially when you take into account the allegiances of each faction.

Silicon Valley seems close with both CIA and China, both of whom would like very much to see Trump gone. The future is uncertain right now- in moments like these I think of Borges' Garden of Forking Paths. Right now it feels like we are at an inflection point, but which way will it go?

I enjoy imagining the conversations which are going on in important rooms at this very moment. Weird how all the USAF planes turned off their transponders last night- something which is typically only done in war. Perhaps there is a civil war, not between people but between different factions in the government? And to watch the narrative around the Capitol evolve in real time is fascinating. Weird times, weird times.

I've found it almost impossible to log off these last few days- afraid of missing The Moment when It Happens. Whatever "It" ends up being.
