"Farming" is basically you staking ("lending") your tokens in return for interest earned, in a similar way to how banks give out loans.

In this case, you can model this like BTC. There is a hard cap of 224k tokens, and farming them unlocks them from the contracts and distributes them proportionately to farmers. Similar to BTC mining.

Shrimp is the same YAM code, but with a hardcap, no rebases, and same code for yield. Basically you can earn a shitton until farming is complete; this is to bootstrap the token initially.

In later stages after farming is complete, the token will be used for governance of the coin and for farming new tokens that get released soon.
