Drone you could fit in your backpack with a 4 hour flight time, or drone you could fit in your back seat with a 12 hour flight time? I'm only planning to make/sell one a week.

What would you do with a drone that you could fly for 6 hours instead of 20 minutes?

How much would you pay for a commercial drone that can

>stay aloft for over four hours, with a max range of about 100 miles

I'm thinking I can probably get away with $5-$10k a pop, which would make it profitable despite the super low production volume.

The use case is anything where you need a long endurance fixed wing UAV but you don't want to carry around a bulky aircraft and catapult. Fire crews could potentially carry it on them when fighting forest fires, and launch it when they need to peak over a ridge. But also anywhere you need real time mapping or ground inspection, like agriculture, mining, disaster relief, etc. It would be great for the military as a squad-level surveillance UAV since it's so compact and rugged, but I imagine it would be harder to sell to them.
