I'm in Europe. I'm charged with assault. I might be sentenced to prison, ankle monitor or community service. I have a problem that I technically have two jobs and I have to choose which to take. One job I don't know if they'll fire me, they might, but if I get ankle monitor it will be shameful. The other job I will probably be fired but then I might be able to go back to the first job for "needs" employment and they probably don't have to know I was fired for going to prison. It's not totally certain I even have both jobs as options anymore because I told the boss at one job I took that job and I might not be able to change my mind.

Anyway now my lawyer is saying there is a prompt for me to go to a psychiatric evaluation. Apparently this might lower the sentence or get me sentenced to psychiatric treatment. This might be good I don't know. But I hate psychiatrists and my lawyer isn't even totally sure I won't have to take pills. Should I object to the psychiatric evaluation or not?

I was in a liquor store. Browsing medium sized bottles of strong liquor for some time, in order to assess which bottle was most suited to keep in my pocket after buying it, because I wanted to have a bottle in my pocket. One employee must have seen me and gotten suspicious because he walked over and said "can I help you?", to which I replied "no, I'm just looking" or something. He then placed himself a short distance away obviously to watch and guard. That really pissed me off. I contemplated just leaving but this chain of government run liquor stores has a monopoly on selling liquor in my country, so I can't boycott them. Instead I just finally hastily made up my mind, took a bottle and walked to the checkout to buy it. I don't even think I put bottles in my pocket. I just felt the size of my pocket with my hand once or twice I think and then I was browsing for a rather long time. Must have been feeling my pocket that alerted him or something, fucking bitch. Anyone else had a similar thing happen and was annoyed as fuck too?

I'm going totally crazy with this, I can't make up my mind. I'm charged with crime and the trial is in less than two months. I had a full time job. They were cutting down to win a government contract or something so 4 people lost their job. It was the 4 who had worked the shortest time, according the "last in first out" law. I was one of them. They told me I had two weeks left to work. So I applied for other jobs. Very quickly I got another job offer at another company. Then one or two weeks after my old job told me I had to quit we had a meeting and they told me I had 3 and a half months left of full time work and then I was offered to take employment that was every other weekend "permanent employment" plus more "when there is a need" (don't know the English terms). When I was in this situation I decided to take the new job even though the first 6 months are a trial employment where they can fire you easily. The reason is that it is full time and the old job wasn't guaranteed to be full time. Then after some time the boss at the old job called me and said one person had quit and as we had agreed in the contract I was therefore offered full time permanent employment again. I was given a few days to the deadline to tell him my decision whether I accepted this offer or not. I had two full time jobs to choose between. It was very hard but just at the deadline I told my boss I'm coming back to my old job. I think it was partially a strategic choice, because now I might be able to change my mind, i.e. still have both options available. If I declined the offer he would probably give that job to another guy that same day. Now it's been some time. Which of these two jobs should I choose?

I got a job, as in I signed the contract, but the actual work hasn't begun yet. Then a few weeks later my old job told me one person had quit and I was offered to come back and work full time. I accepted to come back to my old job. Should I send an email to the new job and apologize for wasting their time, or should I just say in neutral terms that I can't take the job? Also, it might not be too late to change my mind, that's why I've postponed the email.
