It literally all ends up being a complete nothingburger, while anyone trying to play the short-term gets reamed by Big Money. I'm just accumulating and holding forever, fuck all this noise.

So is this the bottom? My PSLV and SILJ have basically stopped tanking. Still down like 8% on them though, it hurts

I'm 28 with like $16k to my name, most of which has been acquired in the last few months from unemployment and stimulus payments. I've invested about $2k of that, have $3200 in actual cash, and the rest is in a couple bank accounts. I've racked my brain for weeks trying to figure out what to do with my money, but so far everything feels frivolous. A car? Already have that. Land or a house? No credit at the moment, no one will give me a mortgage. Hobbies? Already have tons of video game/gardening/music making/crafty stuff. Have any of you come up with decent ways to spend money recently? Should I just be holding and investing? It just feels dumb to finally have more money than I've ever had but not have any interesting ways to spend it

Would it be idiotic to just throw a couple hundred bucks into an Acorns account and see what happens? I don't really want to get deeply into trading but I've heard the general returns on Acorns can be mediocre. Are they better if you invest more than just spare change?

I have $13,000 and no debt, but my credit score is 640 because I've never had credit cards. How long am I going to have to wait to buy land or a house with the current shit going on? I'm getting over $700 a week with unemployment but so is everyone else so I feel like banks aren't going to be just handing out mortgages. Anyone else stashing cash and waiting for something unknown?
