It is the same protocol. The code evolves, made more efficient, bugs are fixed etc. The protocol however, is set in stone. BTC and BCH changed the protocol because they didn't understand it. That's why only BSV is bitcoin today

What do you not understand. It is an academic paper where he describes how his pow consensus mechanism can be used to enforce any needed rules. That sentence is about the pow system general terms. Literally the rest of the paper describes what the rules of bitcoin are that the miners are to enforce with bitcoin. He is in no way saying the rules of bitcoin are to be changed. He even says it specifically in pic related post

You are conflating POW and Bitcoin. He tells you that the POW mechanism can be used to enforce any needed rules in a system. The system he created is called Bitcoin and the rules for Bitcoin are clearly describe in the whitepaper. If it changes, it is no longer bitcoin but another system.

I no longer think you are a brainlet, but you are making some mistakes in the way you interpret the whitepaper. An honest mistake
