I ve spoken about how I got into this feild before in other threads, but basically I ve been doing this since I was a kid, working around family friends who were miners / exploration geos. My family were all fishing / hunting guides so I learned bushcraft from that, I learned prospecting from my father and family friends who had me doing bitch work on small projects like core cutting, general labor all the way through highschool. I went and did 2 years of University to try and get a degree in Geology that way but I found it not to my liking and ended up getting most of my formal education through apprenticing under geologists and prospectors instead. I have done many things in my life, pack guide, prospector for hire, underground miner, diamond driller. I am a Jack of all trades type guy.

Being a prospector means you are a jack of all trades. It yields skills that float over into surprising areas.

As something you should know, most of the gold you will be finding will be very small particles, however there have been cases where these particles were surprisingly concentrated, do lots of research about your local areas geology, look up gold rushes near by. work from there.

As for storage, a personal vault is a good choice, looks fucking lit when its full up all scrooge mc duck style and are actually fairly easy to get a contractor to build.

As for me, what actual bullion I have is either buried.... in an undisclosed location.... or stored in an insured bank safety deposit box for my company.
