I'm expecting to DCA through a(nother) lost decade. But this time, rather than a couple of grand a year, I'm doing 40. 400,000 of contributions, if the 30s are good. I can retire, wealthy.

From 1970 to 1980 SPX beat inflation (barley, but beat the alternative of loosing half your purchasing power). Inflation was 112% S&P returned 130%.

History doesn't repeat itself, but sometimes it rhymes.

Okay, $900 per treatment, insurance pays around 17% of retail = $153 to the provider, they marked it up, and the distributor marked it up, so let's say SIGA gets $100 per treatment corse. Now let's say 10% of the gay population needs treatment. Could be half as many, could be twice as many, but let's say 1.7m treatments at $100 = $170M in SIGA sales to their distributors. What is the implied impact on their stock price @ a 15 p/e?

I've also head that if you have a large sum to invest and choose to DCA, you should plan on having it all invested in a year MAX. Pick DCA or lump sum, then pick your time line if you DCA.
