Yeah even though the blogpost is a little too panicky for my liking, it's usually good to have more statistics, especially when it comes to the business side of reopening. From what I can gather from the post, there wasn't anything too eye opening about the reopening of business:

>most businesses are still afraid to reopen
>the businesses that WOULD follow all the protocols are the ones that have been bit by the panicporn bug hardest, so they won't even reopen for a while
>the businesses that think COVID-19 is a farce are the ones that are more likely to reopen, and therefore they're less likely to follow the protocols

this seems to leave a mixture of lots slow reopening and less use of safety measures, kind of a lose/lose for everyone

If enough people continuously predict the recession and get it wrong one million times before they get it right, or a permabears like Zerohedge, they're bound to get it right eventually.

Remember that old saying that all the faggots on /biz/ would repeat ad nauseum about the shoe shiner/taxi cab driver who started talking about what stocks to buy, and that was the sign of the incoming recession?

That's how it feels right now except the opposite. You get into an Uber and the driver is telling you about the impending stock market crash. I'm not sold.
