This is why people hate micro transactions. The racial passives for this premium race are just too OP. The "linguist" passive for instance allows them to easily acquire languages and it is not uncommon for players who play this OP race to spec into 5+ languages. (They) start with a standard deviation higher intelligence base stat than the other races. Free passport to (their) race aligned zone and the devs gave certain high level toons that started as this race during the closed beta testing the infinite money cheat in the form of a central bank computer and never turned it off when the devs shipped the game, this is obviously problematic as it undermines the game and fun for players of other races. This is especially broken when you combine this with the "interest" skill which a lot of these players obviously put at least a point into as part of (their) build. Definitely looking forward to the Hollow Cost 2.0 rebalance patch. Player retention ought to increase as noobs that start as orphan children in one of the free to play third world servers aren't spawn camped for their organs although a server reset in the form of thermonuclear bombs may be necessary and the devs should definitely do what is needful to keep the game alive. I know I will still keep playing despite all the flaws because I find some of the mechanics of the various skills to be quite fun for what its worth although at this point in time I have to say the game is somewhat of a dumpster fire.
