Two of the largest areas of growth for Palantir are among the least discussed:

FASA

US Fourth Circuit: “This appeal is centered on the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (“FASA”), which requires that federal agencies, to the maximum extent practicable, procure commercially available technology to meet their needs.... On this record, we agree with the trial court that the Army failed in its obligation under § 2377 to determine whether a commercial item could meet or be modified to meet the Army’s procurement requirements.”

This was the first time litigation was brought under FASA. Palantir won at trial and appeal. The DOD did not further appeal to SCOTUS and it is thus settled law that all governmental agencies (IC, DOD, HHS, DOJ... down to the Department of the Interior if needed) MUST use private contractors (as outlined by FASA) rather than develop technology in-house.

Expect many new contracts for Palantir. Also expect them to continue to generate increased revenue (Project Apollo on top of PG—Project Gotham) per contract.
