ETH and BTC are far riskier holds than people here admit. BTC has going for it only the brandname, and that won't matter anymore once coins will start being used for actual apps. Also not to mention there are at least 50 coins which do exactly what BTC does but way better - and have much lower denominations, which is a huge deal for the average stupid normies.
ETH is going to face some of the biggest technical challenges any coin will have to deal with in the next coming years simply because it's the only coin which is used for anything, so in case it'll fail it could fail colossally.
This is why you have to diversify now much more than ever. First advice, dump your BTC for real cryptocurrencies like BCH, DCR, ZEC, etc. (XMR is technically a shitcoin , but that's another post). I'm so bearsih about BTC I won't buy it while it's 4 digits.

You are feeding, clothing, raising and rearing a girl for at least 18 years solely so she can go and get ravaged by another man. Conclusion: As long as you don't lose your access to first-tier freshly printed Dollars you are basically destined to control every (Dollar settled) market on this planet.

Bitcoin endangered the power of those (old) gate keepers. They are used to the fight mode for centuries and are strategically more advanced than most of us. They knew if they didn't act, they would lose control quite easily AND fast. They captured the core of the Bitcoin project and worked there way through the whole community that Bitcoin was at the time. Only few people back then realized what's really going on. But soon enough they were silenced by the (new) gate keepers that arose quickly. Power is a drug. An useful idiot is someone who is blinded by power but steered by powers. BTC is not a danger to the status quo anymore.

Limiting transactions capacity makes BTC commodity-like. It heavily limits the capability of BTC to actually compete with the Dollar as medium of exchange AND a unit of account.

If BTC advocates would realize this, they would leave in droves - it's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

Prediction: Ethereum futures might be a thing as soon, as we see PoS materialize but we won't see futures on Bitcoin Cash anytime soon - it is basically unsafe to short it in the long run.

KuCoin is a fucking massacre, right now it's basically a slaughterhouse. Apart from being easily manipulated by whales. Happened to DBC and BNTY as well, it took a few days to a week until they actually took off, and that was in the still optimistic mood after New Years.
Right now, everything on KuCoin is bleeding out and being picked apart by whales. Might be worth it to observe and then buy the dip at some point, but who knows where the market is going. If the money streams back to Binance and other exchanges who had closed their registrations and thus channeled users to KuCoin, it will never recover, at least not within the next weeks/months. And not even starting with the possibility of a bear market here ....
