From the technical point of view, stock market surges because major cities are reopening their businesses and factories across America, and vaccine developments are accelerating. Meanwhile, Honk Kong is gone but that doesn't mean anything as long as it doesn't threaten global free markets. Businesses in HK will still continue to operate because CCP boomers don't really give a fuck and they are going to get more incentives from mainland China anyway. Supply chains are also going to be restructured for ease of business, more lax rules on global trade, and faster delivery of goods and services. Uh, did I forget to mention that WHO is still an independent organization and EU still supports WHO so even if Trump won't support WHO, they can stand up on their own.
