Sell me this token. What price can we expect it to reach, and why should I buy a crypto with a circulating supply of 6 billion with its total supply being 100 billion?

"Hey Stacey, want anything from Starbucks?"
>"Yeah, I want a mocha roastie supreme! But can you go get it for both of us, I don't want to stop watching Netflix!"
"Sure, can you send me some money though? My credit card is almost empty, I spent everything on Chad!"
>"Yeah, I just got this new app "Reserve Wallet". Download it and send me a request!"
"Wow, I just got it too! I'll put in a request. Hmm, that's weird Stace, it's saying I need "RSV tokens". Wtf is that?"
>"Uh, this app is so fucking weird. WEIRD AND CREEPY. Why do I need a token to send money? How do I even get them?"
"Just delete it Stace and use venmo. That app was made by virgins and creepy ugly losers."

Reserve is literally just a shitty fork of Maker, but with RSR replacing MKR and RSV replacing DAI. There are even commit messages in their git history that say things like "replace references to MKR with RSR". The only difference is that theyre also developing an app that lets you buy RSV but it's incredibly buggy and just shows a blank gray screen half the time when you open it, and isn't even availible on iOS. Why would anyone buy this trash

The whitepaper says when the price/mcap of RSV increases, the protocol will buy collateral or RSR in exchange for newly minted RSV to inflate the price down to the peg at the new mcap. However, it will only buy RSR once the 1:1 colateral ratio is met.

The idea is that this makes RSR a good investment because increased usage of RSV should burn the supply of RSR. But what confuses me is, if RSR only gets bought/burnt when the collateral ratio is hit, wouldn't the protocol always buy collateral instead of RSR?

Lets say the price of RSV is $1, with a supply of 100 and the vault has $100 of collateral. Then the price of RSV doubles. Now the mcap is $200 and price is $2 but vault collateral is still only $100. So the protocol mints 100 new RSV driving price to $1, supply to 200, and keeping mcap at $200. But if those RSV are sold for RSR the vault still only has $100 colateral. Doesnt the protocol need to sell every one of those RSV for collateral to maintain the 1:1 collateralization ratio?

I'm prob missing something obvious

I just want to share this with you guys to help. For your sake, just acquire what you can. Even a small bag if that's all you can afford. This will be .30 cents by the end of this year in a conservative estimate. You guys helped me out when I listened and bought a huge amount of Link back at .25cents. I figured I would try to return the favor.

Anybody have any idea how to send RSR from IDEX to a Ledger Nano S? I keep trying to send it to the ledger's etherum wallet address but it keeps failing. Where do you guys store your RSR?
