I doubt you've read more Marx than I have if you've fallen for such classic propaganda. They've got you confusing the only productive class in our society with lumpen parasites and identifying yourself with a class that despises you. And the dynamic of working people petitioning the government for gibs is characteristic of our current state of oligarchy, where oligarchs are forced to compete for plebbian support in order to come out on top of their internal competition. The current dynamic is unstable, and leads either to a further concentration of power, authoritarianism, and austerity or to genuine working class democracy and shared prosperity. The fact that you've resigned yourself to the former instead of fighting for the latter is not a sign of enlightenment.
