You know why they teach OCaml at universities? Because then the students can't just look up an answer to a problem on stackoverflow... BECAUSE NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS USING IT.
You're probably the kind of guy buying some incentivising utility coin for a LISP protocol because of some minute benefices, with total disregard to its shortcoming.
Oh and yes I agree, NEO is shit, but Tezos is the WORSTESTEST

If that had happened this time last year, it would have been big news. From a long term perspective, this is big. But right now everyone is waiting on the crypto ETF and Bakkt. There are tons of reasons why everything crashed last year, but the biggest factor is all the world governments trying to crack down on something that they didn't have control over. Sure there were ICO scams, but in terms of exposure to every day investors, probably no different than all the companies that fail, go bankrupt, and their common shares are worth jack shit. The reality is crypto represents risk to governments and banks, not because a few scam coins are going to run off with money, but because it negates centralized control of the money supply. Fiat currency only has value because governments say it does. Banks benefit because they get it at almost non existent interest rates, and then get to jack up the interest rates and loan it to everyone else. As such, they have a huge stake in being involved in controlling crypto to the furthest extent possible.

You're both what's wrong with this debate. There's an agreeable middle ground between "billionaire tax loopholes" and "socialist Utopia".

I'm all for taxing at a higher rate on those making tens of millions. It just gets slightly more concerning when that debate starts to immediately creep down to 100-250k earners, some of which are already fucked and not "rich" by any means due to runaway govt spending (Californians).

In the end the billionaires will still have their loopholes/lobbyists, the worthless NEETs will get more FREE SHIT, the 'middle class' will pay the bills with their hyperinflated salaries.

Normies hate Bitcoin/crypto because they hate seeing others succeed, especially in ways that they view as low effort or undeserving. Lefty-wrags hate things they can't influence totalitarian control over.

Now that BTC holders are down from ATH all these outsiders feel smug and superior and write articles like this. Unfortunately they're brainlets with no sense of time, and can't register the fact that BTC is still up 10x+ from the last time they had heard about it bottoming.

These articles are some of the most bullish signs... act accordingly and laugh later.

So my coworkers wife is apparently wrapped up in a Mary Kay pyramid scheme and keeps hassling my wife (and recently me) to go to one of their "parties" where they try and deceive you into buying their shit products, or even worse become a distributor. How do I politely deal with this fucker? I work with him on a pretty regular basis but at the same time I feel obligated to tell him he's a fucking idiot and to cut his losses and stop trying to scam other people. These MLMs only exist because people are stupid
