reading thru this thread now makes me think of the "going postal" period. where for people who dont know postal workers went nuts because the job drove them crazy. the monotony of doing the same mindless shit every single day made them go insane. so I guess now the new term is "going amazon"

I've been there a couple time. Really wealthy people with degrees from some of the best schools in the country, and they're good at what they do; whether that be banking/research/etc. But they're all pretty damn boxed in when it comes to the bubbles they live in. I hung out with a group from that kind of background for a couple years, and it was fun to challenge their sensibilities. Actually got some of them to vote for Trump (I'm sure they hate me for it now). It's not that they're dumb people, it's just hard to see another side of things when you're immersed in that kind of environment. Massachusetts has the highest IQ in the US.

I'm going to calculate muh gains and pay the IRS what they're owed. If they have a fucking problem with it they can review the transactions and figure that shit out, not my problem if there's no framework for this shit yet. Boomers need to do their fucking jobs and write tax codes for this shit.

>Put about 11000 RBC in liquidity around .12 cents
>Now im down to 8440 RBC, gained some ETH in return though

This shit hurts my head and I don't know if it'd just be better to HODL, or to keep it in and get my bonus RBC when the liquidity bonuses kick in. Either way im making money

Gold is a finite resource. No more gold is being created in our world except for asteroids colliding with us.

Economically, the juice (gold) needs to be worth the squeeze (space travel and mining), either the barriers to space travel have to be lowered mostly through cheap energy in perpetuity and that the cheap energy can't be used on the crust probably due to ironically environmental concerns.

Supply/demand equilibrium will yield price of gold. This will most likely happen when humanity has either moved past it's secular squabbles or have been entirely conquered and everyone is living in arcologies. A high population and limited amount of gold will yield the high relative price where it's worth blasting off into space to retrieve the glorious shiny boomer rocks of old.
