how the fuck do normies keep up a working pace for year on year end?
I was a long term neet. Got a job a year ago in a warehouse. At first I was pretty good and enthusiastic. Would put effort into work and try get it done quickly. Then as the months continued on it truly dawned on me how miserable it would be to have to do this every day. I only officially quit the other day but I had stopped putting any effort into work about 3 months ago.
I worked with this butch working class woman who would work at full pace for 8 hours a day and had been doing so for years. She was 50 years old had shit pay, no savings, rented, yet put every ounce of her being into working. She literally had nothing to show for a lifetime of hard work but chronic physical conditions, yet would constantly harp on about how you have to have a strong work ethic. I just can't process what makes people like that tick. She would race around the warehouse manically working as if her life depended on any small task she was trying to accomplish. To me is literally a mental illness.
