Steadily DCA'd into BTC back when it was around $60 all the way up to $800 or so. Saved up to about 15-20 BTC (can't remember).

Got involved in bitcointalk forum. Learned about mining and mining companies.

Found one that seemed to have good promise (would have had 19nm chips before anyone, tech CEO, and other promising signs).

Gave them all my BTC. Eventually value goes to 150 BTC (assuming I had cashed out).

Turns out CEO is incompetent. Company goes under. I lost everything.

BTC goes to $20k. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

I sold all my other positions for LINK because I wanted to get to a 10k stack and I didn't have much to work with. I don't know anything about HOT yet so I couldn't say. My thinking would be how long is HOT going to remain at or near the current price and if you sold it for LINK could you get back in at your current position in time with new money? If so, then yeah put it in LINK. If not, keep the HOT if you believe you couldn't make up your position in time.

I'll have 1MM right around $98/LINK

Truly hoping/expecting to cash out between $200-$500 though. $1000 sounds a little unrealistic to me, but who the fu** knows.
