I checked the blockchain transaction and it checks out, there were 216 bitcoin sent to that address. Why is this twitter thread so frantic and retarded though? Using the bitcoin hashtag and crying to the FBI, really? I mean I'd probably start puking if this happened to me but being a bitcoin core developer he should know better the way this whole space operates. Also his pgp was compromised too? How the fuck does that happen?

Hardware wallets have vulnerabilities too. Most people don't need them though, this guy was a target because he was a bitcoin dev. It's almost like having your bitcoin balance on display for the world to see puts a bounty on you. Who would have guessed?
