It's funny eh? Due to the comparison effect (high inflation last year), the inflation came in "lower than expected" so we pump... year and a half into this crap and we still got +7% inflation (electricity excluded).
It's funny that it takes a whole slew of bad data to bring down the index couple of points and then comes one "good" piece of news and utterly negates everything. Bears always lose, it seems

They did stop and this next dump was scheduled like a decade ago. The point that matters here is that even during this SPR-less lull, we've seen builds of millions of barrels for several weeks.

Either they're faking data (possible, but then why the close agreement between EIA and API?), refinery maintenance is way more intense than anyone thought (but mid 80s aren't unheard of), or something else is going on. It's a bit of a puzzle.
