Actual capital losses are barely reciprocated anyways.
If I made $100 thousand in stocks one year, I'd owe 30k in taxes the following.
If I lost $100 thousand in stocks the following year, I'd only be able to claim at most 3k as a fucking DEDUCTIBLE, with the remainder 27k of taxes still owed from the prior year.
You take on the all the risk to crawl yourself out of financial slavery, and if you lose you receive almost nothing in return for the risks you took. Either way the tax man gets paid.
