>cash out at $1 million
>pay my property taxes and remodel a bit (~$15k)
>buy a cheap older pickup truck ($5k)
>buy mom a used subaru ($8k)
>buy a house to flip and rent (under $200k)
>new pc setup ($3k)
>new yamaha fz-09 ($7k)
>rest goes into savings and investments (>= $762k)
Aside from that I'd keep working and saving like nothing has changed. I'd probably go on a cheap vacation somewhere too, and buy a few more guns.

People dumping alts to hold BTC in hopes of small (by crypto standards) gains are thinking too short-term. Money will rush back into alts as soon as a critical mass of people realize that BTC is stagnating or dipping, and that money will come in the form of market buys. The real winners will be those who buy solid alts before the critical mass of people come flooding in.

The biggest winners will be privacy coins and utility tokens. Best short-term bets are XVG, REQ, Golem, SYS, iExec, and LINK. I can't stress XVG enough though, and LINK longer-term.

Not only are they going to manipulate it, they're going to attract legislation. Selling drugs for Bitcoin isn't what gets it outlawed, but losing grandma's pension in a BTC backed CDO will.

The best bet is to pick your favorite alts and get ready to market buy as soon as BTC shows signs of running out of steam. Focus on privacy coins like XVG and XMR, and coins with real utility like iExec, ETH and Golem.

Also, fuck your dirty pajeet pnd group faggot, go snort some curry.

It was there all along. A pump and dump group orchestrated the FUD in order to get people to withdraw, then right before the fork they issued some small buys way above market rate. FOMO set in and people started following the price up, buying as much as they could, while the pump and dump group sold at the peak and left everyone else holding their bags.

Sadly, LINK is going back to about 3.8k sats for now. It's still a good long-term prospect though.

Do you really think that many people are going to simply ignore the chance to potentially double their money in a day? I kept half my LINK in, but I swapped the other half (13k) for BTC, should make at least $1,000 today on that.

Buy the coins that the chinks dumped. Any crypto with heavy Chinese involvement is going to be too volatile to attract real money interests and innovators, will be rife with scams and will run the risk of Chinese miners controlling the network like they do with BTC. The best bet right now, if you want consistent long-term gains is ETH.

It's wrong to think of Chinese involvement as a positive factor in crypto.

I saw that. I've never seen so much buy pressure for ETH, and in light of the China ban. It would stand to reason that some smart money knew the ban was coming and waited to buy the dip.

It's going to $600 this month. It's already recovering from the massive Chinese dump, and with the chinks out, there'll be less volatility and less fuckery going forward.

I sold at $380 when I saw the news, just bought back in at $280.
