Should I go to college/university? (It's free in Norway, where I live.)

I get okay grades, but I'm not smart enough to study STEM or have high enough grades to become a lawyer, so I don't really see the point of attending college/university...

I don't want to waste 3 years studying like economics or other socionom or sociology studies which are oversaturated and won't get me a job.

Tips?

Why does everyone wants to study in another city?

For example, my gf wants to study very far away from our city, and she doesn't even know what to study, like she wants to either study criminology, law, law enforcement, or Chinese...

There's a university 2km away from my home, where I can study business management for free and live with my parents for free. Why shouldn't I just do my bachelors in my city.
