Yeah most thrift stores do that shit.. Ive only found a few things there before.. Theres also very convincing bowls and dishes but they sre actually copper or brass and nickel silver plated but they look exactly like sterling.

Garage sales you can have luck.. A lot of normies don't know anything about silver or what the numbers mean. They sell their grandmas silver bowl for 5 or 10 bucks.

Once you work with gold and silver a lot you can spot it from plated things pretty well.

I have the acid test kit at home to confirm stuff.

Idk if u should rip off these sterling handles or keep the spoons and use them for my cooking..

I actually think silverware is good to keep at home.

Your average Jamal won't know that the bowl on a shelf is 10 oz of silver or that some of those spoons look different and robbers wouldn't even look into your silverware drawer in the first place..

Back in the days people actually used to steal peoples silverware in robberies since it used to be sterling..

Its not fair bros coming across this stuff is so shocking.. Things used to be exquisite quality with genuinely fine craftsmenship..

Now we just have cheap junk
