Is there a reason why the federal government doesn't offer banking services whose only job is to guarantee deposits and withdrawals in USD?

Like seriously, why do people that have millions in cash need to worry about FDIC insurance limits and shit like that if all they want is to have their money secure, and don't want it invested.

I'm dubious of that graph. I pay out of pocket for medical stuff in the US and the prices seem really fair if you break it down. $150 for 30 minutes, I see a doctor, that doctor has 2 people working at a desk in the office who need to be paid, and he also needs to be paid. If the doctor is paid 8x the people at the desk:

That's $300 per hour, each desk girl gets $30, doctor gets 250 per hour. Desk people make like 60k a year, doctor makes about half a million, which isn't abnormal if you own your own practice.
