One of the things that sketches me out a lot about WEF is just how little information there is about Schwab himself. I just don't see the point of stockpicking. You're competing against every other analyst who is looking at the same data as you. The reason one stock weighting in GDXJ is 3.2% and another is 2.5%, is because thousands of people arrived at that aggregate conclusion.

The chance of picking a better portfolio than GDXJ is a 50-50 coin toss, minus the time spent trying to find an edge.
