>A ponzi, that only profits people with money
Good for the stock market though. Increasing profits since production compensation has not kept up ever since the 70s (company profits have gone up exponentially).
I know it's a bad thing. There's no way in hell I will ever afford to buy a nice house for example. I ain't paying 8% for a mortgage and as someone new to the workforce, I am getting shafted every opportunity they get (plus a smaller wage growth). So yeah, it's shit for a lot of people. But in terms of gains in the stock market, you can't deny that this inflationary/QE market has been great. Sucks for those that missed out on it

As inflation approaches 3%, just watch the jubilations across EU media. Heh, they designed it well and they can manipulate the statistics to perfectly manipulate the normies.
I still think at least one hike is incoming though. They will just let the y/y effect take place and allow for a medium inflation to reduce the state debt and allow for further price gouging.

Unironically priced in. They will just say "economic indicators are showing a contraction in the EU area so we don't really have to raise rates, inflation will go away by itself"... as if those graphs show anything at all. The various index graphs tend to fluctuate between 45 and 55, that's just how it is. What we know is that inflation keeps increasing and there seems to be no end to it.
But the central banks fugged themselves by introducing ZIRP when Covid came. Now everyone got used to free money... which they cannot now pay back. Too high rates and the lower classes collapse. So they will drag out inflation for as long as possible, prices will keep increasing, and big stocks will largely benefit. And of course, they will be able to stave off the state debt.
The EU is fugged if you are part of those lower classes
