It doesn't end well without a shooting war. We've played this game before with Hitler, and the number one lesson was that appeasement makes the inevitable war first. America right now has money, innovation, and the fuck off huge strength of the peak strength of the American navy. But China has a billion people, a knack for copying shit, and an aggressively expansionist authoritarian leadership. The longer we go without a war the less winnable it will be, and if it gets to the point where we can't fight it, China will have global dominance. We need to make a stand at Taiwan.
