Get call later that afternoon with virtually everything I asked for with some minor haggling. Fuck the process. Every executive I know got their position via DIRECT conversation with a competitor or company executive.

This. Most companies match 50% up to the first 10k so its basically a 50% return in your first year of investing anyway. Plus you get tax savings on anything you contribute; I max out every year.

I've been investing in 401k through work for 20 years. Just a basic DCA into a FID 500 Index (pretty low fees) and I'm already at $900k even through this past crash shitstorm.

You're a brainlet to not use a 401k if your company offers IMO.

I'm new to DeFI in general. It's hard to understand the different value propositions between different DeFi projects. They all more or less do the same thing..no?

AAVE seems to be getting a lot of attention lately--what makes it so different? Are any anons holding AAVE ?
