>People are going to be home for the next month and will be looking for ways to make extra money, most of which are too lazy to do anything than browse the web.

I think this is true, but feel like all the pieces aren't in place yet to really light the spark. For example as anons already mentioned, Uphold is the only "way out" when you want to go from BAT to USD. That's a huge roadblock. On top of that there are (allegedly) still glitches with in-browser wallets, people (allegedly) lose BAT every month/week and that would be upsetting to lots of users. To top it all off, normies just steer clear of cryptocurrency in general, and there's no Big Name authority to convince them it's not shady garbage yet.

Hopefully with people being inside 24/7 for a long period of time, people will start to take notice that Brave/BAT are a legitimate way to start making money off of online content. I mean even moreso than Bitcoin or any other cyptocurrency imo.

Ye. I try to be conservative in my calculations, and reasonable. Just online sport betting (and the live traffic that would flow to a 24/7 any jurisdiction/legally grey book with tiny/tight spreads) pushes us close to triple digits using a 3-5x business evaluation. That'd mean steaking returns 20% roi; how long will that last when Forbes/boomer investors catch wind?

The numbers are pretty crazy, and when you get closer to 1k yes...it assumes large/entire market captures, but it's not unreasonable to factor like that. As previously speculated, when a industry top player makes the switch; everyone else will have 6-18 months to copy, or go out of business (baring cash infusions/rescuing). Shit like insurance, progressive or whoever can literally cut their rates in half and still be more profitable than currently. Anything that doesn't adapt will die, and anyone working a white collar office job should be all-in link and/or learning a trade (haha fags, we win again).
