So what's stopping these companies from listing these cars in America then? "They could if they wanted to" is not an argument. There are key specs in most but not all of these automobiles listed that make these cars nearly unusable in america. I want to believe you know what they are but since you posted this in the first place, I don't think you do.

Nope, Ford and GM had over a decade to try and compete with them and take them seriously but instead them and the oil companies shorted them the whole time and have lost bigly in the long term on it. Look at Ford over the past 5 years, you might as well tell me Macy's and JCP are going to compete with Amazon at some point.

The "bubble", from a purely company goods standpoint (i.e. disregarding the softbank stuff), is not due to anything related to auto sales. The only reason this might have an effect on their stock lately is because they are very far ahead other auto manufacturers in online sales.
